When I started writing my novels, my goal was not to become a well-known author or even to make substantial money from their sales. Honestly, my main goal was to share my books with as many people as I possibly could. The idea that people around the world are reading my books is quite humbling.
Over the last thirty years, my career took me on the road frequently. During this windshield time, I spent hours developing stories based on people and places I experienced. My recent retirement gives me the time and motivation to put these stories on paper.
I grew up in the Ozarks of Arkansas. I never was aware of my family’s poverty until I looked back on it. Not many people in my generation were without plumbing and had a well-crafted outhouse.
Through the encouragement of loving parents, I was able to work my way through college and earn a B.S. from Arkansas Tech University and later an MBA from Brigham Young University.
I now enjoy life in the Salt Lake City area with my wife, Connie, and near our five children and their families.
My favorite activity (besides hanging out with Connie) is working in our yard. I'm out mowing or digging every day possible--except winter.
I will continue putting pen to paper as long as people are uplifted by my work.
I always welcome emails to my author email account
